Dr. Mindy Magrane is a Principal with RHR International LLP. Her career is focused on enhancing the potential and performance of senior executives, teams and organizations. A solid business background, combined with a high level of expertise in assessment and development, enables her to guide senior level executives and high potentials to keen insights and action-oriented strategies. As a trusted advisor, she provides coaching to strengthen leadership skills, drive strategic priorities and achieve desired results. Dr. Magrane is also expert in accelerating the impact of newly hired and transitioning executives as they take on new roles, expanded responsibilities, or more strategic leadership. As a team facilitator, she works with executives to gain alignment around the leader’s agenda and the team’s purpose, develop decision-making rules, establish a team rhythm, and identify solutions that accelerate achievement of outcomes. Dr. Magrane has worked with a wide range of domestic and international ventures including Fortune 100 corporations, small businesses, and non-profit agencies. Industry segments which have benefited from her expertise include utilities/nuclear energy, manufacturing, financial services, retail, healthcare, and other service sectors.
Before joining RHR, Dr. Magrane worked in business for thirteen years. She progressed to a variety of roles in finance and talent development with Abbott Laboratories and RR Donnelley prior to returning to school to obtain her graduate degree. In her finance positions, she consulted to business leaders on process improvements and decision making to increase profitability. As part of the talent management leadership team, she developed bench strength through implementation of executive development programs and succession planning processes. Dr. Magrane also served on the faculty of three local universities’ doctoral programs.
Dr. Magrane received a bachelor’s degree in Management and Finance from Purdue University and her master’s and doctorate in Psychology at the Illinois School of Professional Psychology in Chicago. She is a licensed psychologist in the state of Illinois and a member of the American Psychological Association and Society of Consulting Psychology.
